Using a toroidal isolation transformer with neutral-to-ground bonding, the JX eliminates ground-loop interference and prevents equipment resets caused by electrical noise. The flat-pack enclosure is just 1.25 inches tall, and included mounting brackets allow installation on walls, under counters, inside enclosures, or in rack environments — fitting applications where conventional transformers are simply too large.
What a common mode noise problem looks like
Nobody searches for an isolation transformer. They search for the symptom. If any of these describe the site, the underlying condition is usually common mode noise or a ground loop, and neither a surge strip nor a bigger UPS will touch it.

Common mode noise is measured between ground and either neutral or line. It is the tenth of the ten common power problems and the only one that filtering, voltage regulation, and even online double-conversion do not address. Breaking the path takes galvanic separation, which is what the JX-200 provides.
One caution on diagnosis. A ground-lift adapter will often make the symptom disappear, and it does so by defeating a safety ground — a code violation and a shock hazard. Use it as a test only. If lifting the ground clears the problem, you have confirmed common mode noise and an isolation transformer will fix it properly.

The JX-200 conditions and isolates, but it does not hold the load up in an outage. Where the equipment needs both, the J60-350 is the matched partner: it was designed to the same footprint, so the two stack or wall-mount as one slim assembly rather than as two unrelated boxes.

Both are 200 W devices. The VA figures differ only because VA and watts diverge on low power factor loads, which is largely a legacy of older equipment. Size the protected load at 200 W and the pair is matched.
Wire the JX-200 downstream. Utility feeds the J60-350, the J60-350 output feeds the JX-200, and the protected equipment plugs into the JX-200. Is the JX-200 TAA compliant?
No. The JX-200 is not TAA compliant. Note that the J60-350 it pairs with is, so on a regulated contract the two halves do not carry the same answer and the pair is not eligible. Where a TAA-required project needs isolation, the TX91 family carries the isolation transformer inside a TAA-compliant UPS, which gives you one part number and one compliance answer.
What does an isolation transformer do that a surge suppressor does not?
A surge suppressor clamps voltage spikes. An isolation transformer separates the load from the supply entirely: primary and secondary share no copper, so power crosses as magnetic flux. That breaks the common-mode path between source and load, gives the equipment its own neutral-to-ground reference, and blocks DC riding on the incoming supply. Common mode noise is the one condition on the list of ten common power problems that filtering and even double conversion do not address.
Does the JX-200 provide battery backup?

Where does the JX-200 go in the power chain?
Downstream of any UPS, immediately before the load. Isolation is established at the transformer output and nowhere else, so the protected equipment should plug directly into the JX-200 receptacles rather than into a strip after it. Keep it close to the equipment as well: everything past the secondary is unprotected cable that picks up interference and adds voltage drop.
Will it fix hum in an audio or AV system?
Often, yes. Hum in audio and horizontal bars in video usually trace to a ground loop between components fed from different circuits, which is common mode noise by another name. Galvanic separation breaks the loop at the source. It is the proper fix rather than lifting a ground pin, which defeats a safety ground and leaves the cause in place.
What can I run on 200 watts?
A single point-of-sale terminal, a kiosk or signage player, an automation or control processor, a network switch, a camera or DVR, or a small instrument. Add up nameplate wattage rather than working from VA ratings, and leave headroom. If the load is larger, the rack-mount isolation PDUs start at 1.5 kW.
How does it mount?
Wall, under-counter, or DIN rail. The chassis is 1.25 inches deep at 6.9 by 8.5 inches, so it fits inside millwork, behind a display, or in a structured wiring enclosure where a conventional transformer will not go. Wall-mount brackets add 0.6 inches per side.
