Flexible rack power distribution
XPDU expands rack-level power distribution without requiring changes to upstream infrastructure. Its plug-and-power deployment model and broad input compatibility allow rapid installation across new and existing environments while supporting consistent distribution across multiple racks. Units deploy downstream of a UPS or connect directly to facility power, and work with any manufacturer's UPS – simplifying standardization in mixed-vendor environments and reducing the complexity typically associated with rack power expansion.

What is the difference between the XPDU and the SPDU?
The XPDU is a basic (passive) rack PDU: it distributes power to up to 24 receptacles with UL1077 branch circuit protection, without monitoring or outlet switching. The SPDU adds per-outlet switching, remote reboot and metering by outlet. Choose the XPDU when you need reliable distribution at the lowest cost; choose the SPDU when you need remote control and visibility.
Will the XPDU work with my existing UPS?
Yes. The XPDU works downstream of any manufacturer’s UPS or directly from facility power. Match the PDU input plug to the UPS output receptacle or facility outlet: 5-15P or L5-20P for 120V, L6-30P for 208/230V 30A, L14-30P for 240/120V 30A, or a hardwired pigtail on the 50A models.
Which XPDU do I need for a 208V or 230V rack?
For 30A at 208/230V, the XPD31, XPD32 and XPD33 (2U horizontal) and the XPD24C13V (0U vertical, 24 IEC C13 outlets) all take an L6-30P input. For 50A, the XPD35 and XPD36 have a hardwired input. For a 230V IEC rack at 15/20A, the XPDU-IEC uses an IEC C20 inlet with C19 and C13 outlets.
What is the difference between the 240/120V and 120V 30A models?
The XPD34 (240/120V) takes an L14-30P input and provides both 208/240V L6 outlets and 120V 5-20R outlets from one PDU. The XPD38 (120V) takes the same L14-30P input and provides 120V L5-30R and L5-20R outlets only. The 50A versions are the XPD37 and XPD39.
