J60 / J60i — The World’s Smallest UPS

At 1.25 inches thick and 3.4 pounds, the J60 fits where nothing else does — behind displays, inside kiosks, on DIN rails, under counters, and in shallow cabinets. LiFePO₄ battery, up to 15-year service life, 50°C rated, completely fanless. Available in 120V (J60) and 230V (J60i).

Model comparison

All J60 family models — quick comparison

Six models cover 120V and 230V across the ultra-compact J60/J60i and the short-depth rackmount J60C/J60Ci. The primary differences are form factor (flat-mount vs 1U rack), capacity (350VA or 600VA), and optional SNMP monitoring (600VA models only).

Runtime

Backup runtime by load

Most AV and IT edge devices run well below the UPS nameplate maximum — a VoIP phone, access point, or kiosk controller at 30–50W delivers significantly longer runtime than the minimum. The 600VA model supports up to 360W full load; the 350VA model up to 200W.

Load J60 350VA J60 600VA Typical devices
30W 90+ min 2+ hours VoIP phone, WAP, IoT device
60W 45–60 min 60–90 min Small switch, kiosk controller, camera NVR
100W 20–30 min 35–50 min Firewall, digital signage player, POS terminal
200W 6–10 min 15–20 min Full load 350VA · mid-size AV equipment

Applications

Where the J60 is deployed

The J60 covers the broadest range of AV, IT, and edge device applications of any UPS platform in the Xtreme Power line — anywhere a conventional UPS is too large, too heavy, or too loud.

Video walls and digital signage
VoIP phone systems
Security cameras and NVRs
Firewalls and security appliances
Network switches and routers
Kiosks and self-service terminals
Wi-Fi access points and IDF
Hospitality — guest room and back-of-house
Starlink and remote internet
Restaurants and retail POS
Automatic doors and entry systems
PLCs and industrial control panels
Mounting flexibility

Mount it where the device is

The J60’s flat form factor and light weight mean it mounts close to the device it protects — reducing cable runs, avoiding power strips, and keeping the installation clean. Three mounting options cover every scenario.

J60 on standard 35mm DIN rail — same profile mounts behind displays, under counters, or flat on any surface
  • Wall mount
Integrated mounting slots — mounts flat on any wall, panel, or surface. Behind displays, inside millwork, inside AV credenzas, or on any accessible vertical surface near the protected device.
  • DIN rail mount
Optional J60-DIN Mounting Kit clips onto standard 35mm DIN rails for industrial control panel installation alongside PLCs, terminals, and I/O modules. The kit is sold separately. Ideal for manufacturing, automation, and OEM equipment integration.
  • Flat surface
Lays horizontally on any flat surface — under a counter, inside a cabinet shelf, or on any flat area near the device. The 1.25″ profile and light weight suit tucked-in installations where the UPS should be unobtrusive.

J60C / J60Ci — 8.5″ depth 1U rack UPS

The J60C (120V) and J60Ci (230V) share the same LiFePO₄ chemistry and 50°C operating capability as the J60 in a 1U short-depth rack form factor — 8.5 inches deep, fitting wall-mount racks, shallow AV credenzas, and IDF cabinets where standard rack UPS units are too deep. 600VA. Optional SNMP monitoring. Both covered on the same product page.

Optional SNMP and web monitoring — 600VA models only
The optional SNMP-J60 Web/SNMP card adds remote monitoring and control to the J60-600, J60i-600, J60C-600, and J60Ci-600. Real-time power metrics, remote on/off control, alarm notifications, SNMP integration with network management systems, and optional EMD-J60 environmental sensor for temperature and humidity. The 350VA models do not support the SNMP card.

Need isolation without battery backup? JX200 Power Conditioner
The JX200 shares a similar compact form factor to the J60 and provides electrical isolation and power conditioning for noise-sensitive AV and IT equipment — without the battery backup. When clean power quality matters but runtime isn’t the requirement, the JX200 is the right choice.
